You set Gate as your Mac's default browser, so macOS hands it every link you click. Gate checks your rules and opens each link in the right browser, browser profile, or app — then hands off instantly.
Which browsers and apps does it work with?
Gate can route to any browser you have installed, to a specific browser profile (like your work Chrome profile), and to apps such as Slack, Figma, or Notion. Anything without a rule goes to your chosen fallback browser.
Does Gate see or collect my browsing?
No. Gate has no account and no cloud. Your rules and history live only on your Mac, and nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else.
What does it cost?
